Forward air.

What did this mean for Little Mac?

It meant a lot of things, such as weak damage output and pathetic knockback scaling. And unlike neutral air, it did not even connect to other attacks that well. So what did Little Mac's forward air attack actually do?

Why, it made him an air fighter!

Marth felt a burger-packed glove collide against his pretty face. Sent off of the flat grounds of Smashville, the Hero King maneuvered his way towards the ledge. The floating platform was on the other side, so he had no choice but to recover in an orthodox way. Gripping his blade tightly, the blue-haired swordfighter prepared to Dolphin Slash his way up to the ledge.

But at last! He did not expect Little Mac to leap off of the ground.

"Eh?"

In a flash, Little Mac ran off of the ground and punched Marth's face yet again, this time with a pathetic punch. But this punch was enough to push Marth far enough from the ledge's reach. His eyes widened in both surprise and fear, the swordfighter desperately slashed towards the skies…

…But he did not reach high enough.

As Marth sobbed his way into the blast zone, Samus ran up to him, grapple beam readied. I'll grab him and throw him off the ledge, she thought as she ran up to the small boxer. Raising her arm cannon, the bounty hunter sent out her grapple beam.

Much to her surprise, Little Mac leapt over the thing and grabbed her. Pummeling her, the lightweight boxing champion screamed with each pummel,

"STOP. F#$%ING. TRYING. TO. GRAB. ME. AT. THE. LEDGE."

And all of a sudden, with the rage of a battle-hardened veteran who faced many trials against grab-spammers, the boxer threw Samus behind him, sending her off of the ledge. Surprised, the bounty hunter attempted to use her grapple beam to recover.

Down air.

What did this mean for Little Mac?

Little Mac leapt off and lightly punched the bounty hunter before jumping on her head, sending her plummeting to her doom. As the match ended, she realized what he exactly was.

He was Gimp Mac.

After the battle, Little Mac constantly grabbed and threw Samus off of every cliff nearby him whenever he met her. He would engrave his legacy into her head, starting off with getting her used to the power of his air game. And he would also play mind games with Marth, giving the Hero King the idea that he was the best air fighter in the entire game. And he was the best air fighter in the game; his epic and tense battle with Palutena, Link, and the Wii Fit Trainer at Skyloft proved that.

In other words, Bayonetta's air game sucked balls.
