A Bones poem that came to me in English today. Booth's feelings if Brennan was dying from some tragic event. Pretend she is in a hospital bed.

She never saw him cry, and yet

He cried while she was dying

She never saw his tears, and yet

She knew that he was crying

Teardrops hover in his eyes

As he gently strokes her cheek

He holds her hand in his and prays

She'll awaken from her sleep

His eyes are blurry so he blinks

And lets his teardrops go

They're rolling down his face like rain

But she will never know

And so he gives his heart control

And sobs until he sleeps

But from her ever darkening soul

She hears her brave man weep

It pulls her from the black abyss

She awakens with a start

He sits up and he holds her tight

To mend his broken heart

She never saw him cry, and yet

His tears they make her strong

She never saw his tears, and yet

She knows them like a song
