Hey, all. Giving a Hermione/Draco one-shot! Let's see how it goes. I apologize ahead of time if it's not good.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter in any sort of way.
She saw him over at his desk with his cronies. He was laughing at something they said, probably about pulverizing Harry. Hermione stared longingly at Draco. How she loved his cold smile and piercing grey eyes. He lifted his eyes to meet his, and smirked.
"Granger, like what you see?" he called, drawing the attention of everyone in the class. She flushed bright red causing Draco to smirk.
She lowered her head over her book, trying to hide herself from the staring audience. "If there's a price for rotten judgment, I guess I've already won that. No man is worth the aggravation."
"That's ancient history. Been there, done that," Draco said as he turned to face her from his seat.
Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil appeared beside her with knowing smiles and began to sing. "Who'd'ya think you're kiddin'? He's the Earth and Heaven to you. Try to keep it hidden, honey, we can see right through you. Girl, you can conceal it. We know how ya feel and who you're thinking of."
Hermione began to sing the lead again. "No chance, no way. I won't say it, no, no."
"You swoon, you sigh, why deny it, uh-oh?"
"It's too cliché. I won't say I'm in love." Hermione got up from her seat and walked away from the two girls. "I thought my heart had learned its lesson. It feels so good when you start out. My head is screaming 'get a grip, girl, unless you dying to cry your heart out, oh.'"
Padma Patil (Parvati's twin) and a random Ravenclaw girl then snuck their way beside Hermione and sang their parts. "You keep on denying who you are and how you're feeling. Baby, we're not buying. Hon, we say you hit the ceiling. Face it like a grown-up. When you gonna own up that you got, got, got it bad?"
"Oh, no chance, no way. I won't say it, no, no."
"Give up, give in. Check the grin you're in love."
"This scene won't play. I won't say I'm in love."
"You're doin' flip, read our lips. You're in love."
"You're way off base, I won't say it. Get off my case, I won't say it!"
"Girl don't be proud. It's okay, you're love."
Hermione escaped out from the classroom and and rested her back against the cold, stone wall. She closed her eyes and smiled. "At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love."
"You have a good voice."
Hermione turned around to see the grey-eyed god standing in the corridor with her. "Uh…Thanks, Malfoy."
"So you like me, eh?"
"That…is so not true."
"It's okay, Granger. I like you too. See you around, Hermione." And with that, he left.
"See you, Draco." Hermione smiled.
So, how was it?
