After the explosion, Special Agent Timothy McGee and Forensics Specialist Abby Sciuto were down in the lab. They had both been rendered unconscious.

Moments later, McGee was the first to awake, and he ran to Abby to wake her. "Abby," he said. He didn't dare shake her in case she had a concussion.

Abby wakes. "McGee," she said, "Explosion."

McGee sighed with relief that she hadn't completely lost everything. "Slowly, Abby," he warned her.

When she couldn't sit up by herself, McGee lent her a hand. "I do mean slowly," he said as he did so.

They both looked over at the entrance to her lab. There was debris everywhere and it blocked the exit.

"We're going to have to wait until Gibbs finds us," Abby told him.

"I know," he said, "but I don't know if either of us could wait that long," McGee replied. He didn't want to mention that he was worried about her head or his own for that matter.

Abby took his hand just then and held it. "Gibbs will find us," she said with complete confidence.
