She Wishes:
She wishes not to be poor,
To not have to pretend to be rich.
She wishes for her friend back,
To not have another replacing her.
She wishes to be less pretty,
To not always be the center of men's attention.
She wishes not to be married,
To a man older than her father.
She wishes for a life she can control,
To not have to always be bossed around by someone.
She wishes to find true love,
To have a man that loves her for her, not her beauty.
She wishes to be cured,
To not worry how much longer she has.
But most of all,
She wishes to go somewhere far away from the harsh reality,
To a place where her life is perfect.
