Bonnie, after hearing about Elena and Matt's accident, went to the hospital morgue. She saw Stefan inside, and she noticed Meredith down the hall. "Hi, Bonnie," Meredith said.
"Dr. Fell," Bonnie said.
"Matt's doing fine," Meredith told her. When Bonnie looked at her, she continued, "I thought you should know."
"Sounds like Elena," Bonnie replied. "She sacrificed herself so Matt could live."
"Matt's blaming himself," Meredith told him.
Bonnie sighed. "Of course, he would," she replied. "But Elena wouldn't like that."
"Why don't you tell him that?" Meredith suggested.
"I need to make a ring for Elena first," Bonnie said and then walked into the morgue. "Hi, Stefan."
"Bonnie," Stefan replied without even looking at her. "She didn't want this."
Bonnie walked over to Stefan. "You'll find a way around it," she said. "I'll help."
"What if it doesn't work?" Stefan replied. "What if there isn't a way?"
"I'm going to need a ring," Bonnie said, "and you give it to you to give to her." She looked down at her friend. "Just in case."
Stefan nodded. "I have a ring you can use," he replied and then took it out of his pocket to pass it to her.
"Very nice," Bonnie replied and then started chanting with the ring in hand. She then passed it back to Stefan. "The spell is done."
"Thank you," Stefan replied.
"No, thank you," Bonnie replied. "You give her a choice where Damon did not." Bonnie kissed his cheek and then she walked away.
