Christmas Special
A/N: Hello everyone, today is Christmas(Yay!)and for some crazy reason I decided to wake up at 1:34 in the morning(Ugh). So, to keep myself awake and rid of my boredom I'm going to do a little Kenshin Christmas Special that just came to mind. Merry Christmas!
Chapter 1: Christmas Time!
Two young girls run down the Kamiya Dojo's engawa and jump onto their favorite playmate, Kenshin Himura. He laughs and picks the two girls, Ayame and Suzume, up into his arms. They giggle and give him a hug. "Uncle Kenny, guess what!" The young child, Ayame yells. "What is it, Ayame?", "Tomorrow is Christmas!" she yelps in excitement." he smiles. "And Santie Claus is coming." Suzume adds.
Kaoru walks out of the dojo seeing the two girls talking to Kenshin about Christmas. "You two are excited." the smile brightly. "Hai!", "Just remember, if you aren't asleep early, Santa won't come…so go to bed early." A slight groan is heard from the girls but they smile. "We will."
*That Night*
Ayame and Suzume run circles around Kenshin laughing as he tries to grab them. Kaoru watches, a grin on her face. "Kenshin, make sure they go to bed early." she says as she walks out of the room. "Hai, Kaoru-dono."
*20 Minutes Later*
Kaoru goes back to the room Kenshin and the girls were playing to see how their doing, but pauses at the sight she sees. Kenshin is laid out on the floor with Ayame and Suzume curled in his arms. She sighs happily and gives them a blanket before going to her bed.
*Christmas Day!*
Kaoru awakens to little yelps of happiness and laughter. She goes into the dining room to see Kenshin cooking and Ayame and Suzume looking at the wrapped presents. "There's so many of them!" Ayame squeals. "Uncle Ken, when can we open them?" Suzume chimes. "We have to wait for everyone to get up." the girls pout and stare at the presents. "That'll take forever.", "You can go wake them if you'd like." Kaoru cuts in.
The girls' heads pop up and the run out of the room. Kenshin smiles brightly at Kaoru. "Ohayou and Merry Christmas, Kaoru-dono.", "Ohayou and Merry Christmas to you Kenshin.", "Food should be ready any minute now.", "Hai."
*1 Hour Later*
Everyone piles around the tree and stares in awe at all the presents. "Who's opening first?" Sano asks. "We should go youngest to oldest." Yahiko declares. They all agree and Ayame and Suzume open first get all sorts of dolls, fans, and other toys, then Yahiko opens his getting all sorts of things involving swordsmanship, Kaoru gets Kimono's and jewelry, Sano gets Gambling items, and Kenshin gets new clothes and(I don't know, I'll let you decide that one). Everyone adores their presents and goes off to use them.
