It was one in the morning at the new base. And for once it was silent. Rex had fallen asleep after fighting EVOS all day and playing video games all night.
And amongst this rare silence slept Holiday, on a sleeping Six's chest.
This silence was broken when Holiday was aroused by a strange feeling in her stomach. It was unusual but felt natural at the same time.
Holiday ran a finger lightly up and down Six's well-toned stomach in an effort to rouse him from slumber. It didn't take long for Six's eyes to open.
He looked down at the culprit who had awoken him. "Holiday?"
"Hey" Holiday said whilst splaying her hand out on his chest once she realised he was awake.
"Are you okay?" the question laced with concern.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just wanted you to feel something." She reached for Six's hand and gingerly placed it to her lower abdomen. He removed it quickly when he felt something push against it.
"WHAT WAS THAT?" He said, quickly sitting up in bed.
"That, Six, is our creation moving into a more comfortable position" Holiday said moving to sit next Six.
He looked down at Holiday and moved to place his hand to its pervious position. He felt another kick. This time instead of moving away he bent down and kissed Holidays stomach.
He sat back up, and pulled Holiday against him.
Six looked down into Holidays eyes, which were now welling up with happiness. Six kissed her passionately before breaking the kiss.
"Come on I think its best if we sleep, seeing how you are getting more exhausted lately" Six waited for a reply from Holiday, but when he looked down at her, he realised that she was one step ahead of him.
He grinned before sliding them both under the covers, one hand wrapped around her waist whilst the other lay around their creation protectively.
"I look forward to meeting you," whispered Six before falling asleep himself, next to his girlfriend and child.
