Beep beep beep!
The alarm blared in my ears as my hand sweeped across the table trying to locate the snooze button. After multiple crashes and things falling to the floor I drag myself off the bed...and land on the floor. I glance at the clock. 9:00 a.m! Oh schist! I'm late! Annabeth is going to kill me. After a quick dip in tr shower and a quick wardrobe change I found myself sprinting to the Athena cabin.
Annabeth and I had been dating for over a year now but I still get butterflies when I go within a 5 meter radius of her. Her intimidating grey eyes and her teasing smile and her princess curls. Stop it! Perseus Jackson focus! It was our 14 month anniversary and since I had forgotten most of the past "whatever month" anniversary Annabeth would kill me if I didn't do anything special for this one. I fingered the necklace in my pocket as the scent of books from the Athena cabin overwhelmed me. I swear it's like they spray book scented perfume! As I walked closer I spotted Annabeth leaning against the door frame with an amused look on her face. Had I forgotten something? While walking there I had noticed lots of people give me weird, amused and confused looks but I had ignored them. I brushed it off as nothing and continued to walk towards Annie.
She hadn't moved from her spot and was wearing her signature Yankees baseball cap and her CHB shirt with jeans. Her blonde curls where cascading down her shoulders framing her face, making her look more like an angel than ever. Filled with my own thoughts I hadn't even noticed I ahd walked right up to Annabeth and was about to hit her. She was looking somewhere else so she didn't see me coming to her. Head on collision in three...two...one...in the nick of time Annabeth turned around and instead of hitting her I ended up kissing her on the ground with me on top! What the heck! Is that even possible?!
Her confused expression was gone and was replaced with a look of utter annoyance. Oops! In the blink of an eye she had me flipped over so she was on top and was about to lecture me when we heard an explosion. She got up and helped me up and we ran as fast as our legs could carry us to the direction of the explosion.
"It was the big house! Let's go check it out to see if Chiron is okay!" Annabeth cried,panting as we made our way up the hill in the direction. But when we got there there was a slight problem...there was no big house.
Oh how was it guys? Pls review I'm only gonna update if I get any feedback...I don't wanna feel like I'm writing to a group of no one...thx and peace out! And by the way I'm from Australia so some American readeright get confused...just a warning..
