Helios…Rini sighed; it had been a while since he'd left, and Rini…she hadn't really been the same, never had the same twinkle in her eye, and everyone had been quite worried.
"Serena, I'm going to the park!" Rini said as she walked out of the door and out side. Remember when I said 'it'd been a while'? Yes, well a 'while' had been quite a few years, and they had already saved the world from utmost danger. This meaning Rini had grown into a fine young lady, and throughout the years, she has still thought of Helios, and only him. She soon arrived at the park, and sat on the edge of the hill, over looking the water. She closed her eyes. What would you think of this nice day? I miss you, Helios. A small tear slid gracefully down her cheek.
"Rini? What's wrong? You know I can't stand it when you cry…"
Her head shot up. That…that voice…its…Helios'!
"Helios?" He man in front of her nodded. "I'm sorry!"
Tears poured out of her eyes as she ran toward him. He accepted her embrace with a little pang of guilt for her tears, knowing maybe if he hadn't have stayed away so long, she wouldn't be crying.
"Shh…now, little one. Don't cry, I'm here now." She wiped her eyes and smiled.
"Helios, I'm not so little anymore."
"Yes, I know, but you'll always be my little one, not matter how old you get." He hugged her tighter, as a blush found a way across her face. He pulled away just so they could see each other's face.
"I love you." He whispered, as he placed his lips on hers. She was surprised, but non-the less, she closed her eyes as he did. It was about sunset now, so the water was shining a bright, warm orange. To them, it felt as if they were there forever, but sooner or later, they pulled away.
"I love you too." They both smiled, and Helios transformed into Pegasus.
Get on, we'll fly to my world. Rini nodded.
"Pegasus, this is amazing!" His world was beautiful. The darkness that once covered it was now gone. She looked over to where she dismounted Pegasus to see Helios. He walked over and put an arm on her shoulder. She turned into him and wrapped her arms around him.
"Thank you"
"Anytime you wish to come here, call out my name, and I shall bring you here." She nodded, and he kissed the top of her head.
"Anytime"
