Annoying Couples

(Lorien Lupin)

Have you ever met one of those couples that are so annoyingly close they finished each other sentences? That kind of couples that have being together for twenty years and still stare at the other with sappy smiles on their faces?

Well, I have; in fact, I live next door to one of those couples. One of them is some kind of scientist, big brain that one, could be working anywhere in the world but chose love; and the other it's an ex rock star that gave up world fame to be with his beloved. You know, one of those sappy, sappy love stories with lots of drama, tons of love and a happy ending.

They have an annoyingly perfect life. They don't need to work because the ex rock star has dozens of millions in banks and good investments, but they both love their chosen professions, so they teach science and music in the local high school. They have two adopted children, a boy and a girl that are, of course, the most adorable, polite, smart, sweet, and talented kids in the entire neighborhood.

But you know what the most annoying thing about them is?

Is not that they have an ideal live; no, the most annoying thing about them it's that you can't hate them, or be actually annoyed by them because they did fought for every little thing that they have. You can't be even annoyed because to have their perfect normal lives they both gave up great extraordinary ones; and because in that annoying perfect-neighbor way that they have, they're never in anybody's face about it. Because they have a perfect house, but no way near what they can afford; and they have perfect kids, but they had to wait years, persevere, and travel to the other side of the world to get them. And you can't hate them for having the perfect marriage, because you know they had to fight their family, the world and even themselves to have it.

Drake Parker and Josh Nichols are THAT kind of couple and I hate the fact that I can't even hate them… I hate that… I think I'm going to move.
