Annabeth fell to the ground, crying into her hands as Percy stormed out the door of their New York apartment. No, he wasn't leaving her, she was just so damn frusterating sometimes! They got into a huge argument about Calypso. Percy finally decided to tell her, and he figured she'd be upset, but he didn't think she would overeact like this!
She was so angry, tears streaming down her face as she yelled at him. "Why was I so worried about you, when you were perfectly safe on an enchanted island, having a nice vacation and falling in love with someone else!"
It made him angry. It was years ago! They were mature 28-year-olds, and he thought she would be more mature than that! Then again, he could sort of see why she was upset. He thought about how he would feel if she left for a two week vacation with Luke…Hmm. Just thinking about it made him boil.
He realized he was outside. He just needed to take a walk. He thought about going to the local pool, but it was like three AM, and he wasn't that upset anymore.
He walked back into the apartment, to find Annabeth on the floor, crying as hard as before. She was holding herself and shaking. She looked up, her face red, and said brokenly. "Come to pack your stuff?"
He was stunned. Did she want him to leave? Before he realized the conclusion she had come to, when he stormed out of the apartment.

He dropped to the floor beside her. "Oh, Annabeth. No. You should know me better than that."
She looked at him, confused. It hurt him so much to see the fear and pain in her eyes. He would never, ever leave her. He just had to clear his head.

He held her in his arms and said, " I will never. Ever. Leave you. We're gonna fight like this sometimes, its just what lovers do. But I'm never going to leave you alone, I promised you, when I put that ring on your finger, I promised you that I would always be there for you."

Percy looked down at her and smiled at her to show that he meant it. She didn't need the reasurence to hear the truth in his words. She tried to smile back, and said "I'm sorry. I get overprotective, I just-"
He cut her off by kissing her lovingly. "I love you so much. Don't ever let yourself think that I would ever in a million years leave you."
She smiled. "I should hope not. Percy, I'm pregnant."
The words left her mouth, and Percy's eyes filled with tears. He kissed her again, and said. "This is fantastic. Now I'm gonna have two girls to reasure!"
She gave him a questioning look, and he shrugged. "I just know. It's a girl. And I will always be there. For both of you."
They kissed again, and left Percy to wonder for the rest of his life why she would think for a second that he would ever leave her alone.
