"Yaya-chan, you really have become mature." Nagihiko suddenly said to Yaya, when they were alone in the park. Yaya looked up to him and smiled. "I noticed myself, too. Maybe it's because I've stayed and been friends with the mature Guardians. And besides, I'm a guardian myself, so..." Then it was silent again. After a minute or two's silence, they heard steps. Running steps. They looked. Then Yaya exclaimed, "Kukai!"
Kukai looked happy at first, but when he saw her with Nagihiko, his expression changed abruptly. It depicted anger and jealousy. "Kukai, what's wrong?" Nagihiko approached Kukai. "Nagi-kun..." Kukai started.
* "......." -Yaya and Nagihiko *
"NAGI-KUN?!?!" they both exclaimed, with different reasons. "Nagihiko! Nagihiko! Is there something going on with you and Kukai?!" Yaya shaked Nagihiko. "N-no idea..."
Meanwhile, Kukai was surprised of what he had said. He realized he lost control of himself. "Ah, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say..."
"Shut up! Kukai, how many times have I told you not to call me 'Nagi-kun'? How many times have I told you that I don't accept your feelings? It's not you I love, it's-!"
Kukai suddenly ran to him and embraced him. "Nagihiko, what is with the one you love that I don't have? Tell me! I want to be the one who'll satisfy you!"
Nagihiko tried to push Kukai away, but in vain. "If you want to know, then I'll tell you! She is beautiful and graceful, and she is also kind and courageous! You are not a single bit like her!" he pushed the dumbfounded Kukai again, and Kukai gave away.
Meanwhile, Yaya was pale and shivering with shock at this 'for adults' scene. She can't believe in what she heard and saw. Kukai, falling in love with Nagihiko?! What has happened to this energetic, athletic person she once admired and loved? She didn't think it was possible. Then she heard Kukai shout, "Nagihiko, who is the person you love?!" Nagihiko looked away. "Yaya-chan, please don't listen. Your childish senses although you've become a little mature now, will be shocked when you hear this."
Yaya refused to leave. "Events like this are baby steps in becoming more matu-"
Kukai was shouting and shaking Nagihiko again. "Who?!" Nagihiko smiled. "It's...Nadeshiko".
