It was after Arizona's and Alex's surgery that he was walking around and checking every room opening doors like a crazy man when Callie worked up from working on a chart at the desk.
"Looking for somebody Karev?"
"Your wife!"
"What, are you talking about?!"
"She left during surgery and had me close up our patient."
"What do you mean she just left where'd she go?"
"I don't know she's been disappearing from Surgery a lot lately."
Callie stops what she's doing and closes her chat taking off looking around the hospital opening every door out of concern.
Later on Callie finds Arizona outside in a blue hospital field jacket just like she was wearing the night she got on the plane and it disappeared and crashed.
Callie walks up behind her 'Hey what the hell are you doing out here Karev said you have just been up and leaving your surgeries lately?"
Arizona turns around "I..I had to run an errand."
Callie looks at her questionly "An Errand?"
"Yes Callie, an errand that is none of your business so just leave it alone."
"Are you feeling okay, are you sick, did you get your period or something during surgery?"
"N..no nothing like that and I feel fine.
"Then Arizona, where'd the hell did you go sweetie?"
Arizona just shakes her head putting all her weight on her right foot feeling the pills in her pocket wishing Callie would just leave so she could pop one in right at that moment.
Arizona accidently knocks 2 pills put of her pocket and they hit the wet ground.
"Oh shit no!" She gets mad at herself
Callie watches her bend over and quickly puts her foot over the pills.
"Arizona.. what are those, how long have you been taking those?!"
"Is that why you have been Awol?"
"Have you been making shady drug deals to get pain pills?"
"Who is this dealer and what street is he located on?"
"Enough Callie!"
"I..I didn't know those were in there they could be anybody's!"
"Arizona?"
"Tell me the damn truth Arizona how long as this been going on and are you becoming a drug addict to get rid of your pain?"
"You don't know me Callie!"
"What the hell does that mean?"
Arizona just looks at her
"What the hell does that mean Arizona tell me."
"I..I've had this problem before in high school and in college."
"When did this pill popping start?"
"You mean right now or?"
"Now."
"The n..night Nick died and before the FRICKEN plane crash!"
"What..the night Nick died, what the hell Arizona?"
"I told you, you don't know me and I popped 2 before I got on the plane so I could relax and not think about being on a plane and just fall asleep and wake up back in your arms, thought it was all a dream because I was high but then it wasn't all a dream."
"Ohh sweetie, when did you have time to get them?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean before Nick when did you get these pills?"
"I left the hospital when you told me to get my shit together."
"Is that why you snapped at Karev and is that why it was at that moment that I lost my wife because you were taking these damn muscle relaxers?"
"I..I'm so so ashamed Callie, of myself, doing this you you and our marriage and Sofia."
"You're damn right you should be!"
"You need help Arizona, Professional help."
"I will be there I will help you get through this Arizona it's okay to ask for my help."
"Remember whatever you can't I will and I'm not going anywhere that still stands."
"I will continue to fight for us and our marriage and family if you don't let your drug problem destroy us and everything we have and you get clean."
"I'm here Arizona and that's how this works."
Arizona breaks down in her arms.
"Come here." Callie hugs her holding her tightly letting her cry out her pain
