She look through her bag for the white envelope. Yuki was waiting and he was getting antsy. But for some reason, the envelope wasn't there. Horrified, she went through it a second time and a third. It was gone, missing in a matter of one class block.

"If you find it later, you can give it to me," Yuki smiled. "And you can just give it to Tohru if you can't find me."

"I have it," she was still rummaging through her bag. "I was getting something and had Kyo -. That rotten cat."

Yuki watched with a confused look as she quickly stood up and ran down the hall, desperately searching the school for Kyo. She gave him the money to hold and must have forgotten to get it back. Spotting his bright orange hair, she rushed around the corner while yelling his name.

"Kyo Sohma!" she pinned him against the wall. "Where the hell is my money envelope?"

"What money envelope?" he immediately yelled back.

"I gave it to you while I was doing something!"

"When the hell was this?"

"Last class block!"

"Oh, I gave it to Yuki."

"AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME?"

"You never asked for the stupid thing back. I turned it in for you with your name on it and everything."

She looked at him for a second to let everything sink in. Once she thought about it, now was the only time he could have told her. A little embarrassed, she let go of his shirt.

"Stupid Kyo," she crossed her arms and walked away. "You should have just given it back. I knew there was a reason why I hate cats."
