This is something I wrote a long time ago. I have no idea what season of MacGyver it is, and StarGate must be after season 10. If anyone knows what season of MacGyver it is please let me know. I don't watch that show much.
Jack O'Neill had some random things in his house. Various knick-knacks he had collected during his travels. Little reminders of good times, distant events, and long forgotten people. It was through these things that Daniel Jackson shuffled. Originally he had been searching for a movie but he had long since moved on from that shelf. A picture, a seashell, a bottle of sand, a can of soup with a label in German, an old coke bottle, a can opener, a manual for some random car. Each was picked up, examined and returned to its proper place. Daniel was about to move on when something caught his eye, though it was nothing more that a flash of gold, it had his attention immediately.
It was twenty minutes before Jack returned to his home. Even then it was not until Jack tapped him on the shoulder that Daniel realized something was going on besides the memories unfolding in his mind. Nether Jack nor Daniel spoke, there was no need to. Resting on Daniel's open palm was a small golden token, a hollow tube with a small incision near one end. Jack looked at it for a moment; the light slowly dawned in his eyes as he realized what was going on. Their eyes met, just for one moment, before a one corner of Jack's mouth began to curl upward in a smile.
Just in case you didn't gather, it is the MacGyver episode where he is in medieval England, I think.
