Many people speak of a story about the great poison that struck the peoples planet milleniums ago. In a nutshell the great poison is a extremely toxic and corruptive slow moving liquid is a near guarantee for death on contact and has caused many casualties. It was eventually gathered in one spot and sealed in a temple with a 13 piece lock. The pieces to this lock were the 13 legendary artifacts held by each of the thirteen elders and they were hidden all across the world for one person determined enough to go and hunt for them, this is that persons story.
Sam was 12 at the time when he first heard the story about the great poison by this time everyone thought the story about the great poison was a fairy tale or at least Sam. By the time Sam was 16 he decided he was going to try and find the artifacts and save his planet from the sealed great poison. Sam has saved up a lot of money and decides to go to the town blacksmith and purchase a few weapons (bows, swords, axes, explosives, etc..) for his journey. He also stops at the town alchemist and purchases a variety of medicines.
Now that Sam has left the town he has done plenty of research on the story and artifacts he decides that the first artifact, the artifact of the courage would be the easiest to obtain since it is located near his town only problem is that it was in a cavern that is near an active volcano. This cave is known for being a habitat for all sorts of dangerous creatures and even a dragon. As he makes his way through the cave he finds a skeleton holding a torch and decides he should take it considering it was getting pretty dark in the cave.
With his newly found torch Sam was able to go deeper into the cave and finds a huge lake of lave and the only way across was a stone path the crossed the whole lake. To make things worse the lava crocs just happened to be in mating season and were very aggressive. As he made his way across he had to watch his footing and things got worse as the ground started shaking and boulders were falling into to lava lake and making the lave and lava crocs splash around everywhere. So he decided to forget the safety and just run the rest of the bridge. After he continued down the path he noticed a cracked wall and decides to use one of his explosive shells.
Behinds the wall was the artifact but guess who was guarding it, the dragon. As he prepares for his fight he drew his bow and landed a shot right next to the dragons eye. The dragon did find this to pleasing and got up and tried to stomp him out. The dragon then spit fire at Sam and his shield did not block it to well as he got the whole left side of his face burned. As he recovered from the pain that was him burning face he ran up and stabbed the dragon right in his heart and that didn't work because his blade got stopped by a bone. That stab dropped the dragon to the ground and gave Sam plenty of time to plant an explosive shell in the dragons chest and then recover the artifact of spirit and leave the cave.
After Sam got out of the cave he headed back home still hurting from his burnt face and visits the town medic to get a treatment. When his treatment is done she heads home and places the artifact on the table and tells his parents "Ha I told you the story was true"
