CHAPTER ONE- New Beginnings
It was Stephanie's eighteenth birthday, and she was melancholy. As melancholy as a cow is when it's looking over a fence at the fresh green grass on the other side. We all know that is melancholy. Why is she melancholy? Because Sportacus might still see her not as the matured woman she has become, but as the little girl she once was.
CHAPTER TWO-Party Party!
"'98 was a good year." Mayor Meanswell said in the kitchen to Bessie, his newly wed wife, just as Stephanie entered. The both of them jumped up at the sight of her, yelling, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Unfortunately, Bessie had been frosting the cake that was to be Stephanie's birthday cake. The cake, of course, was the kind of cake that Bessie had learned that in 1712, Prince Albert III had had at his coronation ceremony. It was a pink, fluffy, big, tasty, round, orange, white, blue, sweet, tall, cake. Bessie, who had been frosting the cake, flung it (accidentally) at Stephanie, amidst her surprise at seeing her. Stephanie, who stood dripping with crumbs, stared blankly, still in shock of having a tasty treat thrown at her personage. Bessie immediately ran over, but her hair (being newly done) and the slippery floor, caused her to crash into, and fall upon, Stephanie, leaving both their head ringing.
