The Death Of A Vampyre

Time passes
Centuries go by
But there is no climax
I will never die

Faint whispers of demise
Go through my head
I want, no strive,
For my be dead

But this future
I was forced to begin.
I laugh as I picture
That knowing grin

Twas a moonless night
When I stepped out in the gloom
Much like tonight
The night of my doom

The mist hit my face
And I covered my eyes
This small confined space
Concealed my cries

Hearts raced,
The blood pounded
And with I was faced
That I was surrounded

Fangs peirced my neck
And began to cry
So I began this trek
This ardent lie

And now I seek death
Like a moth to a flame
Oh, to draw one last breath!
No, tis my maim

Oh, where is he?
This death of mine
I wish to see
My death devine

And here is my wish
I see it straight
I take the kiss
Of the wooden stake.
