Greek Mythology Mega Prompt Challenge - #14 Cronus
"I think our masterpiece is done, Freddie." George grinned proudly at his twin, holding the small vial of orange-colored liquid between them.
"I believe it's safe for testing, Georgie?" Fred grinned as well, "Because I think I've found the perfect person to test it to."
"I like what you're thinking, my brother. Shall we?" he stood up, offering his hand to Fred.
"Oh, yes, we shall."
..oOo..
The twins walked down the maze of stairways of the Burrow, hands in their pockets. "Fred, George, snacks are on the table." Molly poked her head out from the Kitchen.
"Thanks, Mum!" "Love you, Mum!" The twins cheered on whilst walking towards the table filled with food. Ron, who was stuffing his face, looked up at them.
"I doubt Hermione'll want to snog you if she sees you like that." Fred teased, poking his chubby cheek.
"What do you mean? I don't wanna snog Hermione." He scoffed, shooing them away.
The twins rolled their eyes at him, "Ah, little brother. So young and so gullible."
"Shut up."
"Well, don't you want some pumpkin juice to accompany your meal?" George offered him a mug full of orange liquid.
" 'Fanks." Their little brother mumbled, taking a huge gulp from the mug. He then set it down with a nauseated look on his face. "I thought it was pumpkin jui-" Before he could even finish his statement, his limbs and torso began to elongate into an increasingly fast pace. "Fred! GEORGE!" The boy screamed out loud as his head hit the ceiling above them.
"Fred and George Weasley! What have you done to Ron?!" Molly bellowed, storming out from the Kitchen with her face red with fury. "Your tricks are getting out of hand!" As she poked them both, her wand turned out to be one of their fake creations. The twins tried hard to contain their chuckles as Molly once again shouted, "FRED AND GEORGE!"
"Mum, help me!" Ron helplessly called out, his entire body almost filling the living room.
Ginny then popped into the room, giggling. "You should have learned not to trust them both by now, Ron."
