Chapter 1
James was an up and coming duelist just out of the academy, after the graduating ceremony he went back home to relax and spend time with his family.
After three hours with his family he went to his room and put his deck of cards on the side table where he always put them when he was home at the holidays.
He then laid on his bed and wandered what was next after helping Jason and the others save the world three times while at the academy.
James fell to sleep with his T.V on the duel channel, he woke up early only to see his friend Jason on T.V in a duel against Alex another duelist and they both took it to the wire.
As he watched the duel he wandered if he should join the duel leagues when he heard a knock at the door, he got up and dressed and slowly went down stairs.
Where he saw and intriguing person wanting help with running a shop for duelist's, as he got closer he heard his dad talking about James running the shop since James had graduated with flying colours.
James hated the idea of only running a shop he wanted to be more and he told Yusei that he was leaving for Neo Domino City from Arcadia, after hearing the news James told Yusei that he was going to tell his mother the same thing.
When James approached Akiza and Kate he said that he had something to tell them, Akiza and Kate already knew what he was about to say but they just let it come from him.
"Mom sis I am off to Neo Domino City I hope you understand" He said.
They both looked at each other as Yusei walked into the room and handed James a couple of cards, he said that it would be helpful.
James looked at the card with surprise to see that it was the Stardust Dragon, Formula Synchron and Shooting Star Dragon, James said thank you as Akiza turned to Kate and gave her the Black Rose Dragon.
Yusei then told the two of them about the cards and the power of the signers, he then went on to say how they always thought that the crimson dragon powers would be passed on to their kids.
James told Akiza and Yusei about his dream and about how Alex had gone missing and he was last seen in Neo Domino City, Yusei told James to be careful and James agreed, Akiza told Kate to stay with them and James agreed that she shouls so she decided to stay and finish her studies.
Yusei told James to spend one last day their and he would take him to the train station, James agreed so that he could tell Summer who had been his friend since he first arrived in Arcadia.
He went upstairs to get his phone and his deck when he heard a scream coming from outside, he rushed downstairs and out the door only to see nothing their so he looked around for a bit.
After 5 minutes he went back inside and back up to his room, he decided to get changed into his combat bottoms and his black t-shirt, then he picked his phone looked at it and saw a message from Summer.
The message said
Hi James meet me in the west street café I want to ask you about something ring or text me when you get there summer
James wandered what she had to say but thought that it would be a good time to tell her his plans to go to Neo Domino City, he picked up his deck and set off down the stairs and out the back door.
He walked to the west street café and took out his phone when he saw Summer in the middle of a duel with a strange girl, he decided to go get a drink and watch the duel he ordered a cup of tea to go. He made his way back to where Summer was.
The duel ha finished and the girl introduced herself as Karla Alex's cousin and asked the two of them to find her cousin, James asked her how she had heard of them and she told them that Alex told her that James was the top in the male academy.
And she had heard from a friend that Summer was top in the girls academy so she thought she would ask them for help, James then told the girls that he was going to get something to eat then he wanted to know a bit more about his friends disappearance.
Karla agreed and they went to the café for food, as they was eating Karla explained everything to James and Summer about him being followed for six weeks before he disappeared by people in a dark blue robe.
Summer looked at James in surprise and asked James if he was going to help Karla, he looked at Karla for a minute and then he stood up went and paid for the food and told Karla that he would see her at the train station the next looked surprised as Karla thanked James and Summer and walked away.
James told Summer that he was going to Neo Domino City and about his dream that he had as well as already planned on looking for his friend, Summer agreed and asked if he was going to enter the tournament which was going on in Neo Dominio City.
James told her that it had crossed his mind but he was not sure because of the dream he had the night before, she nodded her head and asked where he was going next so he told her that he was going to visit Gordon.
Summer never thought much of Gordon she always thought he was strange so she told James that he would see her later after James agreeing to phone her when he was done, James set off to Gordon's place as Summer set off to her friend Amy's.
Summer spent a ten minute walk to Amy's when she got their she knocked on the door, Amy answered the door to see a concerned look on Summer's face.
"What's wrong Summer" Amy asked
"James is going after Alex, he was asked by Alex's cousin" Summer replied
"Since when did he go looking for people he always put duelling first didn't he" Amy asked again
"Not really remember he helped us when he first come here by beating that bully in a duel which got us into duelling, but since Gordon come on the scene you have been distant and stayed away from James" Summer replied again
"your right" Amy sighed
Then Amy invited Summer in and said she wanted to go over plans for the tournament, Summer agreed and told Amy that she did not know if James was entering the tournament.
Amy looked glad to hear that which made Summer look like she had no idea why she would look happy about it, Amy then told her she might have more chance of winning if James didn't enter the tournament.
Summer looked a bit more relived after that Amy then asked Summer when she was going to Neo Domino City, Summer told Amy she was thinking about going to Neo Domino City the next day on the same train as James.
Summer set off after that wandering why Amy was interested in the tournament when she was always quite soft when it came to duelling, Amy said bye to Summer and closed the door and laughed.
"At last I will finally get my victory over Summer she has no idea what the Farkas organization has in store for her" Amy laughed.
Summer decided to go home for a bit and wait for James to ring her, she walked for 5 minutes before she was back at hers.
When she got in she told Sherry and Kazama that she was going to join the tournament in Neo Domino City, Sherry handed her Flur Synchron and Chevelle De Flur and wished her good look.
Summer thanked her mother and put them in her deck before going to her room, she wandered what was taking James so long to call so she decided to text him.
Hi James where are you I need to tell you something it's about our friend Amy, please get in touch as soon as you can.
James finally got to Gordon's house all the way across town as he got Summer's message he decided not to text back until he had finished his chat with Gordon and set off back to meet up with her.
He knocked on Gordon's door and 2 minutes later Gordon answered the door and he didn't look too impressed to see James standing at the door.
"What you doing here James" Snapped Gordon.
"I just want to talk to you about Alex since you two were close for the past few years at the academy" James said calmly.
"Go away I have nothing to say to you about it and I am getting ready for the up and coming tournament in Neo Domino City, so leave me alone James" he snapped at James
James agreed to leave but thought it strange because Gordon was usually a placid person but he was being aggressive and James wandered what was happening.

Sorry for not replying sooner meet me at west street café we will talk when we meet up.
Sunny looked at the message got ready and set off for west street café to meet James, she could not wait to see James to find out what Gordon had to say about things.
When James got their Summer had a cup of tea waiting for him as well as pie and peas, James thanked her sat down ate the pie and peas then told her everything about what Gordon was like and said and she told James everything about Amy.
After their conversation they went to their homes for some rest, James however could not sleep so he picked up Stardust and just started to talk to it as if it was normal for hm to do that.
