I've been busy with revision and my exams. But, I'm back now! :D It took me a long time to start writing because I had no inspiration. So, forgive me if this story's too short! It's a one shot, by the way. Enjoy! :)
"Raven?"
The quiet teen looked up from her spell book. It was Beast Boy.
"What?" She grumbled.
"Well, there's a hole in my costume, and nobody is here except you."
Raven sighed.
"So, you want me to stitch the hole back, right?" She asked, expressionless.
Beast Boy nodded.
Raven closed her book and got up from the large, red living room couch.
"My sewing kit is in my room."
The other hero smiled.
"Don't touch anything." Raven said, entering her room. Beast Boy nodded. The female pushed her navy blue hood back, revealing her purple hair. She then started fumbling an opened drawer. She took out a transparent box, inside were pins and several rolls of different colored threads-blue, pink, yellow, white, green, purple and more.
"Wow. That's a lot of colors." Beast Boy said, upon seeing the rolls of thread. "Your costume is not the only one which needs to be fixed." Raven mumbled, threading a fine purple line into a needle. "How am I to sew your costume when you're standing way over there?" She said. Beast Boy immediately went to Raven's side. He knew he was interrupting whatever she was doing. And, he didn't want to anger her.
"Stand still."
Carefully, the needle poked in and out of Beast Boy's costume. Raven focused on the needle, looking at it each time it came out of the costume. The atmosphere was awkward. Quiet, and uncomfortable. Little beads of sweat dripped down Beast Boy's green forehead. He and Raven were never alone together. It was as if time stopped. He felt like the clouds have stopped moving. Every second felt like a minute, and every minute felt like an hour.
"Done."
He sighed. Finally, the weirdness in the room vanished and he felt like the clock was ticking again. He looked at the purple stitch. "What? Not good enough for you?" Raven said, putting her sewing kit back into the drawer. Beast Boy shook his head. "No, no. It's fine." He replied. Raven rolled her eyes. "You can go now." She mumbled, sitting on her bed. Beast Boy nodded his head.
"Thanks." He said.
"Whatever." Raven replied, starting off from where she stopped in her spell book.
The door then closed.
Beast Boy shrugged then ran his fingers across the purple stitch, grinning from ear to ear.
