Kate sat in her daughters room, it had only been a few days since they had brought her home and she still was finding it hard to believe she and Rick had a baby together and it wasn't some dream she wasn't waking up from anytime soon. Their little girl lay sleeping in Kate's arms as her mother sang to her softly in a beautiful voice, a voice she knew as the one that would always protect her from the bad people in the world and the one that comforted her when she cried. She didn't know that Rick was standing in the door watching his two favorite girls and smiling at how perfect they were.
