Would you like to sit down- and enter?
As Mami walks into the room, she finds Homura focusing intently on the computer screen, tapping keys and constantly alternating between looking at the keyboard and screen. Seeing Homura doing "normal" things, coupled with a new hairstyle and red rimmed glasses, Mami couldn't help but be amused. Chuckling softly, it reminded her of the stories a friend of hers that worked in the administration section of the hospital used to tell her. "Would you like to sit down- and enter?" She muttered to herself.
Homura immediately stiffened, the typing forgotten. Turning around she asked "Tomoe-san? Did you say something?"
As realisation dawned on her, Mami's face turned bright pink. ' I can't believe I said that out loud.' She thought to herself. "Umm yes... Akemi-san. I was just wondering if you like to sit down and... I mean if you would like to come into the kitchen for some cheesecake?" Mami mentally kicked herself for almost saying it again.
"Hell yeah Mami! On my way!" Kyoko shouts from... Well, who knows where. "And don't worry Homura! I'll finish off yours too!"
"Kyoko!" Mami scolds. She sighs "No matter how many times I tell her..." she mutters to herself. "I am truly sorry for Sakura-san's behaviour Akemi-san." Homura shakes her head. "No need to apologise. Sakura Kyoko will always remain the same. In my experience, sometimes that can be a good thing." Homura comments, with a somber look in her eyes at the last statement. Before Mami could question her further about that statement, they hear a crash. "Uh... Sorry Mami...I didn't see the apple pie on the shelf. But don't worry! I'll make sure the pie doesn't go to waste!" Kyoko yells out.
Mami closes her eyes and sighs, pinching her nose no doubt steeling herself for the inevitable headache. "Tomoe-san." Mami lifts her head in suprise. "Yes Akemi-san?".
"I have decided to join you both for some cheesecake. Better to go now before Kyoko destroys the kitchen." Homura states with a slightly sour look on her face. Mami clasps her hands, her eyes lighting up immediately. "Ah yes! Wonderful! Let's go Akemi-san."
Despite the destruction that awaited them in the kitchen, Mami couldn't be happier.
A/N: I was going to make it longer, but as Psykoakuma suggested, it might not be a good idea to pack too much in bite size stories. So... I hope I've improved with this one. If anyone wants a second chapter, just let me know :)
