"Life at Digitech was great. Especially with our heroes."
"Ugh, where is my locker! First day and I can't even find it!" Jayce said out-loud. When Jayce usually talks to herself, she talks out-loud. Just then, Davis whipped past on his skate-board. And Joe is walking up to him angrily. Davis stops at his locker, # 508, when Joe walks up. "Excuse me, but what number is your locker?" Joe asked. Joe was the hall monitor. "508," Davis replied. "You have detention, Motomiya. Would you mind me checking your locker. I have warrant." "Fine, only 'cuz you have a warrant!" Joe then searched Davis's locker and found a book. "Hmm, 'How to come up with pranks' seems like a good read. This needs to stay at home." Joe said. "Fine, I won't bring it tomorrow. I'm almost done reading it, want to borrow it?" Davis asked. "How did Davis not get it! It's sarcasm!" Yolie said as she walked with her friend/mentor Mimi. "I know, right!" Mimi said as the girls started laughing. 'Wow. Those two girls are a little different. Oh, well. Where is locker 275?' Jayce thought. Then Zoe walked up to Jayce and tapped her shoulder. Jayce turned around to see who tapped her, and found Zoe. "Hi, are you new here? I'm Zoe!" Zoe said as she put out her hand. "Yes, I'm Jayce. Nice to meet you!" Jayce said as she took Zoe's hand. "Want to be friends? There aren't a lot of girls here, so all my friends are boys. So, I really like being friends with you already!" Zoe said.
"I know you are probably wondering what a bunch of kids of kids are doing as heroes. Well it says in the book, that they will disappear into our world. And you're probably wondering why I said 'our world'. Well, we live in the digital world. Where the 'pets' the kids learn about at Digitech, are actually digital monsters that are their partners.
