Loren Tate and Eddie Duran were best friends since they were six years old. Even as a little boy Eddie had always had a passion for music and Loren always pushed him to follow his dreams. When Eddie was eighteen and Loren was sixteen he got signed to a record label. Loren had seen that their friendship was drifting apart but knew this was what he has been dreaming of since forever and didn't want to ruin it for him so she just kept her emotions hidden. Since then Eddie continued to follow his dreams but lost Loren as his best friend in the process. As of today Eddie is twenty years old and a thriving pop star and Loren is eighteen and is in her Senior Year of high school...

Tate Household

This morning Loren woke up a little apprehensive and excited. Today was the day that she had been waiting on for months. Eddie Duran was having a concert at the Avalon from his 6 month tour. This would be the first time she would see him in years. Even though they might have once been best friends Loren didn't know what to think of this. Years ago she had wanted to see Eddie perform but could never bring herself to do it. With the help of her new best friend she was finally going to do it. She was going to go to his concert and try to enjoy herself. She loved his music but the thought of seeing him after all these years made butterflies in her stomach. She brushed her thought off to the side and got ready for school. She rolled her eyes at the thought of running into her dreaded tormentor Adrianna Masters. For some odd reason she girl hated her and Loren just couldn't figure out why. Loren went into her bath room and did her morning routine trying to get a certain pop star out of her thoughts.

Loren made her way to the kitchen and seen her mom sitting at the table reading a magazine. "Don't you think its a little too early to be reading gossip magazines?" Loren questioned. "Of course not I live for the Hollywood drama." Nora responded making both of the girls chuckle. "Loren are you excited to see your best friend Eddie Duran tonight?" Loren let out a sigh before responding to her mother."Am I still even able to have that title, and of course I am he is one of my favorite singers." "Loren don't be ridiculous of course you are able to have that title that's what you are." "Best friends don't speak to each other in years mom?" Loren questioned. Nora was about to respond when she got interrupted but the horn of a car. "That's Mel mom I have to go so I don't be late." "Bye Loren have fun at school" "Bye Mom"

Loren made her way to Melissa's car and got in. "Hey Lo are you ready for Eddie's concert to night?"Melissa asked in a cheerful tone."Of course Mel."After that Loren just let Mel talk about what she was going to wear to the concert and drifted into her thoughts. The conversation that she has with her mom made her think if she was really still Eddie's best friend. She wondered if she was wrong all this time. Did Eddie still think of her as his best friend. Loren was so deep in her thoughts that she didn't hear Melissa turn off the car. "Loren" Loren jumped at a little before turning to look at Melissa. "We are at the school" Melissa stated. Loren looked through the window and noticed that they were at the school.

The girls made their way to their lockers" Did you even hear what I said I was going to wear?" Melissa questioned. "Yeah of course, one of your Mel originals." Loren guessed. By the look on Mel's face she had guessed right. "Yeah its going to be amazing." Cameron walked up to the girls. "Can I talk to you for a second?" He directed his question towards Loren."Of course you can." With that Melissa walked away. Loren was upset that she had left her with someone she had barely knew, which she only knew him cause of the one class that they shared. Her thoughts were interrupted when she hear him speak." Do you want to go out tonight?" Cameron asked. "I'm busy tonight" Loren responded. "Well when you're not busy do you think we can hang out?" Cameron asked with slight hope of her saying yes. "I don't know maybe" Loren said wary of the idea. That made his smile go down a little bit but he still had hope because she didn't fully say no."

Meanwhile on the other side of town

"Eddie...Eddie...Baby wake up" said a familiar voice. Eddie opened his eyes to see his girlfriend Chloe Carter. They had been going out for a little over a year. They met the year he lost his best friend Loren. Eddie had always wondered what had happened to their friendship and why it had ended. He had missed Loren Tate but they had lost contact of each other when he started becoming famous. Chloe calling his name knocked him out of his thoughts. "Eddie, you need to get up" "What time is it?" Eddie asked groggily. It's 2 in the afternoon you have a sound check at 3, so you have to get up so you can make it on time." Eddie stretched and reached for his phone that was laying on the night stand." What are you goin to do while I go to the sound check?" Eddie asked. "I think I'm going to invite Hannah over so we can catch up." "Okay I'm probably not coming back until after the show, are you sure you don't want to come?" he asked hoping she would change her mind about not coming. "No babe I seen you perform plenty of times, I'll be fine not going this time." That hurt Eddie's feelings but he tried to mask it knowing that she had went to a lot of his shows but this one was the most important to him because it was at the Avalon and it was in his home city. "Well I'll see you later baby". "Bye" Chloe responded.

30 minutes into his sound check they had taken a ten minute break. He took this time to call Chloe to check in on her. "Hello" she answered a little breathless. "Hey Chloe are you okay your breathing sounds funny?" Chloe tried to keep a steady voice and responded to Eddie" Yeah I'm good how is the sound check?" "Its fine, just ready for the concert tonight." "Well that's good I'll see you when you get home tonight" and with that she hung up. Eddie was confused in why he was rushed off the phone and he was puzzled because he thought he had heard a male voice in the background...a familiar one at that. He shook his head thinking he was crazy and thinking that he had lost his mind. Chloe's friend Hannah must have brought a male friend he thought in his head. He hurried back on stage to finish the sound check.

It was finally time for the concert to start and Eddie was a little nervous. It was different from all the other shows that he had performed. This one was the most important to him. He was still bummed that Chloe didn't come and he was bummed with the call they shared a couple hours ago. He knew that he still had to do his best with this performance. Loren became more excited for the concert when she arrived at the Avalon. Throughout the concert Loren could have sworn that Eddie was looking at her the entire time . Eddie couldn't believe his eyes it was his best friend since he was eight. He couldn't tear his eyes away from her even when he transitioned song to song. He knew that he needed to talk to her before the night was over. This was a night they both were going to remember.

Should I continue this story or not...I revised it and made it into something brand new I hope you enjoyed. Also I might redo the other stories so if you read them before they aren't gone yet I just need to take it 'one story at a time'...If you get the pun I love you but thanks again for reading
