Information Concerning NIDS (Or Neuro Immuno Deficiency Syndrome)

There are many questions surrounding the Syndrome that afflicted Maria Robotnik. First, this disease affects the brain, and prevents any protective cells to keep it safe from any bacteria that might attack it. A bacterium attacking the brain is inevitable, so the Omega Care suit Maria had only kept these out. It is incurable, since it is a birth defect. It is possible to give protective cells, but if they are not compatible, they could attack the foreign cells (the brain) and the victim would die. Bunnie Rabbot (from the freedom fighters series,) is the only known survivor to this disease, due to her partial robitizication. I hope this was explanatory.
