This was idea I got while reading another story enjoy.

(Draco's POV)

The rain poured down on the day of his funeral. Standing under a black umbrella holding my sobbing mother. I continue to ask myself why he had to die. He formed and molded my life. Without him I was nothing. When I was little and got into mischief he wouldn't ever get mad. He would look disappointed but never angry. He never treated me unkind. He was the arms I could fall into. A memory of when I was six years old floated into my mind.

Flashback.

I ran in the door tears stinging my eyes and running down my cheeks that were covered in dirt. My suit was torn and dirty. My lip was cut and bleeding. A couple kids down the road had beaten me up and took the watch my grandfather gave me.

I ran down the hallway crying. The door to his study opened and he was suddenly in front of me with open arms. I ran to his arms and sobbed. He held me as I cried and carried me to the bathroom. He set me down on the counter. I choked out what happened to him. He listened as she put a band aid on my cut knee.

"Don't worry about the those boys. They aren't going bother you again. I promise." He promised me. "I want you to take this." He said unclasping the watch from his vest and gently put clipped it to my vest.

"If you ever feel scared. Look at and know I am protecting you right then." He said to me while he gently straightened my tie.

I rubbed the watched in my fingers. No matter how far I traveled it was set to London time. So I knew when he was watching the moon or the sun. He was there whenever I needed him to be. I always got excited when he got home. No matter how tired he was he always had time for me and Mummy. Whenever he'd come in the door I would run to him and he'd put down his brief case and lift me way up high. My mind went back to my first visit to Hogwarts and I was finally coming home.

Flashback

The train rushed along the tracks on its way to station. First year was over and I was finally headed home. I could barely sit down I was so excited. The train finally came to a slow stop. As the train slowed down. I saw standing on the platform waiting for me. The doors finally opened. With my suitcase bumping along my side. I ran off the train. He was waiting with open arms. I dropped my suitcase and jumped into his arms. He lifted me way above his and flew me like an airplane.

I sat on his shoulder as he carried me with one hand and my suitcase in the other. I rambled on about my first year. How I was put into Slytherin just like he was and how my favorite professor was Professor Snape. I learned about different potions and spells. He happily listened. I was so tired from the ride that I was asleep before we got to the car.

The rain continued to pour. I walked up to the casket. It was open. He had chalky white skin. His eyes were closed forever. What I wouldn't give to see the shine in them one more time. How they would light up when he would got home. I gently unhooked the watch from my vest and put it in his hand.

" You can let go now Daddy. I will be okay." I whispered as looked at the stone.
