It was late at night and a tall alicorn walked through the dark everfree forest. it was late and the only noise she made was a soft 'trot trot trot trot' noise.

as she walked she came upon a large crystal kingdom that was dark and gloomy filled with fear, she had been searching for this place for years and she had finally found it. she sighed with relief and muttered "finally" and she walked towards the kingdom and saw a gigantic castle and ponies crowding around it and she grumbled in annoyance "i shall do this the hard way then".

her horn glowed with a red aura and a storm cloud appeared in the sky and began shooting lightning down at ponies and they ran in terror and she quickly flew up towards the castle as the guards went opposite of her towards the raging storm cloud.

as she entered the castle she was relieved that there was no pony around and she trotted through the castle until she came upon a room with a large mirror inside.

"at last i have found it"

with that she trotted through the mirror...

1000 years later

a young purple alicorn with a purple and dark purple mane ran through town towards a large castle with a purple baby dragon with green scales on her back holding a note.

as she burst through the doors 5 other ponies turned to look in her direction and a cyan pegasus with rainbow coloured mane hovered in the air and spoke hastily

"whats the rush twilight is it discord?!"

a yellow pegasus with a pink mane spoke quietly and softly

"discord is reformed now remember?"

this caused the cyan pegasus to roll her eyes and a scoff was heard from a white unicorn with a dark purple mane

"that doesn't mean he wont cause trouble and i still don't trust him what so ever"

the yellow pony cowered feeling shy and the alicorn shook her head quickly and read the note which turned out to be a letter out loud

"dear twilight sparkle and friends we have heard from a source that wishes to stay anonymous until you meet her has shown evidence of a new threat, it is required that twilight comes to canterlot immediately and learn of this new threat and what you are to do"

an orange earth pony wearing a brown hat and with a yellow mane trotted closer to the alicorn

"well quit talkin' an' get a move on!"

after saying this the alicorn departed for canterlot unaware of what was waiting her them...
