"Luna? Why didn't you drink your slushie?" Maria glanced at her friend in surprise.

"I'm just going to let it water down." Luna explained.

"But a slushie's supposed to be a lot of ice,you know that." Maria pointed out. Luna only hummed in reply. "Anyway,you're just going to drop that home,then come with me,right?" asked Maria. "Yes." Luna went inside her house and came back out.

After hanging out with Maria for a few hours,Luna came home and immediately missed her drink. "Mum? Have you seen my slushie anywhere?" she called.

"Oh,the blue drink with ice in it? I poured into a proper glass,it's in the kitchen!" Her mother called back from upstairs. Luna smiled and went into the kitchen to find two identical drinks on the table.

Luna picked up the drink on the left hand side and drank it,vaguely noticing the strange taste. It wasn't bitter,but it wasn't sweet either. It almost tasted like she was drinking milk. After finishing the drink,Luna felt there was something being pulled, then swirled inside her abdomen. She shook her head. Why Maria liked this drink so much,she'd never know.

Luna was about to go into her bedroom when she heard her mother let her aunt Christina into the house. Luna sat on the top of the stairs to instead of going in her room,this particular conversation seemed to promise to be interesting.

"Hello,Selena! Do you have the potion?" asked Aunt Christina.

"Yes,but,you owe me the title of godmother after this is over,Christina." Mum told her sister seriously. Oh,after Luna's other aunt had her daughter,Aunt Christina had a severe case of baby fever,she was the oldest out of them,and she still didn't have a child. As Luna's mother worked in St Mungo's,in the maternity department,she could take pregnancy potions home. Luna guessed this was what Aunt Christina was here for.

"Thank you Selena,this really means a lot to me." Aunt Christina left the house.

A few days later, after Luna found herself throwing up early in the morning,she was attacked by an owl flying into her bedroom through her open window and landing on her bed. "Ow! Do you mind?" Luna massaged her head,then glanced at the piece of parchment tied to the bird's owl shook its leg free of the parchment and shiny thing then flew the window. She took the parchment and read it.

Dear Miss Evergreen,

I am pleased to inform you,that you are now a prefect. As you may know,prefects are expected to patrol the corridors of the Hogwarts Express and have two compartments to themselves,however,they are also permitted to sit with their friends after a meeting with other prefects.

Please find your badge enclosed with this letter and we look forwards to seeing you in Hogwarts.

Luna looked down at the badge. "Luna? Are you alright?" Mum came over,looking pale,but immediately brightened at the sight of the badge. "I'm fine,Mum,I must have eaten something that didn't agree with me." Luna showed her mother the prefect badge. Technically,Luna was too young to be a prefect. She had only turned fourteen in May,meaning she should be going into fourth year. She been admitted to Hogwarts at the age of ten instead of eleven as she showed that she was a particularly gifted witch.

"I'm so proud of you,Sweetheart." Mum hugged her daughter,then felt her forehead.

"Are you sure,you're okay?" she asked. Luna nodded,despite the fact she had no idea why she'd been sick. "I'm fine.

Yes,I'm aware that Luna and Maria are OCs from the MCSM fandom,but,they're Ocs, and I'm pretty sure that you can transfer OCs to any fandom without making the story a crossover,as long as you don't add in any characters from the actual fandom you put them in? Let me know if I'm wrong. Also,for this to work,Luna is an only child
