A Reason to Knock
Hidan sighed as he stalked down the corridors of Akatsuki Headquarters, on his way to find Itachi—no doubt located in his room.
The Leader had requested (well, ordered, but requested always sounds so much nicer) that the religious man gather Itachi and Kisame so they could meet. He tried to find Kisame first, but the shark-man was nowhere to be found, and so now he had to find Itachi—decidedly the less sociable of the two.
And so, Hidan had arrived at Itachi's room and began to open the door, meanwhile saying, "Hey, Itachi-san, the Leader—"
All the way across the Headquarters, Sasori and Deidara paused in their card game as they heard a shriek and the unmistakable sound of fire, and quite possibly a shout of 'I'm sorry'.
Sasori sighed. "This is why I always knock."
Deidara couldn't help a chuckle, "I bet he's praying now, huh?"
