"Saki?" Hiiro touched her beautiful face. Tears formed in his eyes.
"You're alive." Hiiro hugged Saki crying. "I-I thought...you were gone forever." Hiiro swallowed the lump in his throat.
Saki gently brushed away his tears from his face.
"I'm here now." She whispered softly
Hiiro felt his chest ache. His cheeks turning a light crimson...
"Saki... You may not feel the same for me as you did six years ago. But..."
Hiiro got on one knee,
Removed a box from his lab coat pocket.
Saki gasps, her breath shaking.
Hiiro opened the little box to reveal a stunning, white, glistening engagement ring.
"Hiiro.." Saki cried
Hiiro proposed; "Saki Momose, will you spend the rest of your life with me?"
Saki hugged him and kissed him.
"Yes, YES HIIRO I WILL MARRY YOU!" She squealed with delight.
Hiiro slipped the dazzling ring onto Saki's finger. They then embraced eachother.
Taiga stood with Nico behind the doorframe smiling.
Saki looked at the cake on Hiiro's desk.
Hiiro came wondering over with paperwork in his hands.
"Are you alright Saki?"
The best doctor in the universe asked.
"You like pastries and cake Hiiro?"
Saki giggled.
Hiiro blushed. "When you weren't here Saki...When I thought you were gone forever after Graphite took over your body."
"I ate pastries and cake to mourn over you."
"Oh Hiiro..." Saki hugged him.
"Would you like to have children someday Hiiro?" Saki asked.
"Whenever you like Saki."
Hiiro placed a kiss as gentle as silk to her soft lips.
