I don't own Legend Of Dragoon.

Unlike Any Other

Shana burried her face in her hands as Dart charged at one of his opponents. Rose wasn't paying attention to their names. If they weren't dragoons they didn't matter to her.

She watched on. Battle after battle. It wasn't like a real war. That was something most men didn't know. Even when they're in a middle of one. Nothing was like the Dragon Compaign.

The brown haired girl gripped the rail and cheered for her crushes win. Rose scoffed at her silently and moved to lean against an abandoned station.

"Not interested in the fight anymore?" Lavitz sat next to her.

"Amusing, but purposeless." Rose simply stated. Truly, she was sick of the way Dart reminded her of Zieg. The likeness in looks made her miss him more.

Lavitz gazed at her as she wandered in her thoughts, "Do you have someone?"

"Excuse me?"

The knight blew a sigh, "Dart and Shana might not be together yet, but it's apparent that it's going to happen. You're an attractive women. Not like anyone else anyone could meet. One of a kind. You must have someone..."

Rose wrinkled her nose, "I told you. They're all dead."

"Is it hard? All I've lost is my father and a few comrades. It somehow seems nothing compared to what must've happened to you."

"That would have to depend, now wouldn't it?"

Lavitz continued to reminisce. Holding his dragoon power in his hand.

"If you'd ever settle down. See my home. My mother will adore you."

"Why are you asking me this?" Rose turned to look down on him.

"It seems- Doesn't it seem like this will end for me before the end of this adventure."

Tilting her head the ancient woman contemplated his unknown emotions.

Lavitz stood, still playing with the trinket he recieved from his fathers old friend. "Heh. I'm probably just being silly."

"As a favor. I'll see if I can visit." Rose sighed.

He smiled kindly, "Thanks Rose. You really are like no other woman." Kissing her on the cheek by surprise he sauntered off. Going to cheer side by side with Shana.

Rose brought her hand to her cheek. What was he thinking?

And as a favor Rose morned with the lonely widower and mother.
