Rating: PG (just to be on the safe
side)
Chronology: during my story 'Child
of the Force' (please, R&R it!)
Disclaimer: Uh, I own it. I really
do. Well, besides the 'inspiration'. Anyway, Old George, if you want to
buy the
rights… :)
Note of the author: every reference
to real events or existing people is purely coincidental (winking at Elizabeth
again… Really, Betta, it's not my fault!)
Synopsis: Short poem. In a sleepless
night Noor thinks about her beloved Master Jinn…
You are like the rustle of a cornfield
combed by the wind,
the sight of a starry sky while lying
on a boat deck,
a mother's caress when fever flushes the
cheecks.
You are all that. And nothing of that.
You'd be all of that.
If I only could touch you…
Far from me, trapped by the denials of
destiny.
I lost you before even finding you.
Soul and body that complete mine.
I wander through the landscapes of my night
dreams.
I find you and grab your shadow.
I press against you as though you were
my sense: warmth, scent, flavour.
But the sun cracks the night. And the fog
of deception.
Nothing is left over. Besides your absence.
And that flickering hope that prepares
my heart for a new dream, for a new deception.
THE END
P.S. Please, R&R, but keep in mind
that 'basic' is not my mother tongue…
