CCX: So yeah, it only kind of just now occurred to me that Finn is essentially the one who raised Leif…and also his canon father-in-law.

"Why must you call me that?" Leif asked after being addressed as "Lord Leif" by his foster father, Sir Finn.
"Because it's your name, my lord?" Finn replied, confused.
"Not that. You're the closest thing I have to a father, aren't you? So at least when it's just our 'family', don't call me by my title."
"But Lord Leif…it wouldn't be right," Finn's daughter, Nanna, said.
"That goes for you too, Nanna. No, that goes double for you, because when I make you my wife, you'll have to call me by just my name."
Nanna blushed. "You're so silly, my lord."
"I'm serious. You wait and see."

"Lo—Leif, where are we going?" Nanna looked around, partly to make sure no one else witnessed her dropping Leif's title.
"Somewhere we can be alone." Satisfied, he began to kiss her.
Nanna made only a feeble protest. "This is wrong, Leif…Father is the one who raised you, which makes you kind of like my brother, doesn't it?"
"…Do you want me to stop?"
Nanna had to admit that she didn't. She was in love with Leif, even though she also kind of saw him as an older brother. And as such, she felt like her love was forbidden. And yet here he was, kissing her and telling her how beautiful she was. Was it so wrong, to be feeling these stirrings?
Eventually, she would convince herself that it wasn't. By the year 774, she would publicly address Leif without title, though she still kept her budding relationship secret from her father. Desperately, she wanted to publicly declare her love for Leif, not just as a prince but as a man. A boy, she corrected herself; they were still so young, and yet… this feeling reminded her so much of the stories her mother would tell of meeting her father. Nanna supposed that was only natural; Father was the one who'd raised Leif. And so she laid alone in her bed, hand on her budding chest, quietly saying her foster brother's name.
CCX: Nanna you naughty girl. (laughs) So, yeah, this ended up being really short, because it was just a little idea I came up with. Hope it was enjoyable.
