I never thought there would come an end
to this...blissful eternity
which dwelled so deeply within my heart.

Now a broken heart.
Held together by a rubberband
secure in my hand.

I once held a dream in my heart
I once knew where I was going
I once understood my way
Knew where my feet were leading

I treaded a path so right and willing
My dream shown so brightly it was glowing;
guiding me each day.

Now, there's pain. Only pain left unto me.

No more dreams or wishes.
Love, it doesn't exist.
All is lost or been forsaken.
All dreams are gone.

The moon coxed away the wishing stars;
there is nothing left to shine for me.

Oh, beating heart!
Life has lost all its meaning
and now I fall victim to the approaching dark.

Oh, broken wings!
Forgive me…
You've no dreams with which to beat upon,
to rise up and bear me from my sorrow.
