Luka and Miku were lounging around in their back yard. It had been a long day for the both of them, and they were glad they got to relax. Miku just got out of school and was hanging out at Luka's house.

"Luka, can I ask you a serious question?"Miku queried.

Luka looked at her in surprise," Umm, sure, what is it?"

"Are you hiding anything from me?"

Luka panicked,"Well, I-I don't think so,"

"I can tell you are lying," Miku sighed,"well, I've got something I feel I should tell you, so let's make a trade. Secret for a secret."

Luka thought about this,"O-okay, but promise you won't freak out?"

"Only if you won't."Miku looked genuinely scared," I'll go first."

Miku took a deep breath,"I lost my virginity."

Luka's heart sank and her jaw fell,"When? With who?"

Miku cast her eyes downwards,"Last week, with Kaito Shion. I really didn't enjoy it. I-I actually feel robbed."

Luka curled into a ball causing Miku to panic,"I know it wasn't right! I regret it! I screwed up so badly! I am sorry Luka!"

Luka looked up at Miku feeling like her heart was ripped from her chest,"It can't be helped, a deal is a deal I need to tell you my little secret."

This was the most terrifying moment in Luka's life. She was about to tell Miku her deepest secret and would have to face the consequences it could cause. Luka could feel her heart beating through her chest like a bass drum.

Luka closed her eyes," Miku, I like women."

"Wha-What!"

"I'm a lesbian," Luka avoided her eyes.

"..."

'Great... She is disgusted by me' Luka got up from her reclined position and headed towards the door. She had to go somewhere, anywhere away from Miku. She had just reached the door when she heard her cry out.

"Luka! Wait!" Luka was shocked. "How d-d-do you feel... About... About me?"

Luka was about to drop dead,"I ... Like you."

"I really did screw up..." Luka turned around to see Miku crying uncontrollably for no reason.

"It's okay."

"No it's not! It was with Kaito!" So that was her problem. "It should have been with you!"

Luka was shocked at Miku's somewhat confession. "Mi-Miku?"

"I've liked you this whole time secretly, but I thought you would never like me, or think I was disgusting, so I..."

Luka tilted Miku's head up staring into her beautiful eyes,"The past can't be fixed... I should have told you sooner... I accept the blame."

Miku stared back into Luka's eyes, her love showing bright and clear,"Please, will you be with me now?"

Luka leaned forward, their lips centimeters away and whispered,"Now and forever. You will never have to pretend again," At that moment the distance between them melted away along with their secrets.
