"What would you guys say if I proposed?" Deeks suddenly blurted. Apart from him, Sam and Callen were typing their reports in the bullpen, Kensi was up in OPS helping Eric with something.
"To Kensi?" Callen looked up, incredously.
"No, to Sam," Deeks rolled his eyes and leaned over the back of hi chair to face the big guy who had stopped typing too. "Whaddaya say, Sam, you up to it?"
Sam's lips drew in a mocking line, "I'll have you know, I'm married, Deeks, but thanks for the offer."
"So that means if you weren't married, you'll take me up on it?" Before either of the male partners could utter a word, Deeks corrected himself, "Oh, no I'm sorry, if you didn't have that kick-ass wife you'll be the first to ask for Callen's hand, wouldn't you?"
Callen was now aping like a fish, Sam turned red in anger.
"You little-"
"I'd rather you didn't kill my fianceƩ ," a female voice stopped Sam from lurching at Deeks, whose eyes have turned wide as saucers at Kensi's last word.
"And you Deeks," she took the few steps over to her partner. "I preferred if you didn't ask for their opinoin the day I check the security cams and mics with Eric." With that she grabbed him by the collar, yanked him out of his seat and crushed her lips to his.
When they had to seperate for air, they turned to their clapping and whistling collegues, "I'll take that as a yes," Deeks smirked brightly.
"You didn't get that when I called you my fianc ?" Kensi laughed. "What a slow man you are."
Deeks hugged her tightly to him, still smiling, "But I'm your man," he whispered before he kissed her again.
