Hani slowly climbed out of the furo, reaching for a towel to dry himself off with. The heat of the water clung to him, steam streaming in wisps from his body. His muscles, relaxed from the hour long soak, felt like putty. After training with both Tousan and Chika and then half the house dojo, he was ever so sore.
Granted, he managed to knock every last one of them to the mat, but that took work!
Now he only wanted three things: Usa-chan, his comfy bed, and Takashi's quiet and soothing presence, in that order.
Two out of three were a given; by now the maids would have turned down the sheets and place Usa-chan neatly on the pillow. His tall and lanky cousin, however, would training well into the night in preparation for a kendo competition this weekend and could not stay over. It was rare for the two to be separated after school and Host Club, but Hani was certain he'd be able to deal with it for tonight. It was an important reason, after all.
He could stand one night without being tucked in. Honest.
Hani slid the door of his room open. Bed, soft and inviting. Usa-chan, soft and pink and comforting, on said bed. Takashi, tall and silent, at the desk, pouring over what looked like homework.
"Takashi?"
Tan hands held up an open math book. "What answer did you get for number 45?" he asked simply.
Hani smiled at the lack of an explanation for his appearance, as per usual. He had finished his homework before his training session, with the intention of comparing answers with Takashi before class tomorrow. They usually helped each other out in their best subjects, after all.
The night was a perfect three for three.
