Is this the end or the Beginning?

Prologue

Part i

A silky voice startled out me of my reverie and I turned around. Standing a few feet away was a Cullen, not just any Cullen, Edward Cullen. With soft bronze hair and beautiful golden eyes, all the girls in Forks wanted him. He was incredibly handsome with his pale skin that was unblemished.

"Yes?" I asked, unable to recall what he had said to me. My heart had sped up and nervous shyness crept up inside me. The Cullen's were elite and mysterious. Since their arrival they haven't befriended one person and politely turned away anyone who tried to make conversation with them. They didn't speak to people.

"You dropped this." he held out a long piece of white paper.

I felt my heart drop to my stomach and my face flush with heat. Very clearly drawn in vivid colors was the nude drawing I had been working on. One I was very proud of. My hands flew to my side satchel and found it wide open, with numerous papers peeking out. But more importantly, Edward Cullen had seen me drop the drawing of a naked girl, entirely exposed, had seen it, and was now holding it out to me.

Oh, God. Someone kill me now.

"Thank you." I said, dazed, embarrassed, and amazed. I was speaking to a Cullen. One who now knows I draw naked people. His smile grew bigger and my heart was near bursting out of my chest, it was beating so sound no doubt he heard it.

I became aware that some people were looking at us and I hurriedly took the paper away from him and stuffed it in my bag. I needed to end this before I hurled in front of him and the entire school. He was still looking at me with a smile on his face, amused.

"Thank you." I said again before turning around and speeding away towards my step-sister's car. When I reached the red Malibu, I turned around. He had reached his siblings and was talking to the big one, Emmett. Suddenly Emmett let out a booming laugh and the pixie like one, Alice, covered her smiling mouth.

"Someone kill me now." I whispered, humiliated and faint.

"Sophia!" behind me Lynn had rolled down the window. "You're coming or not?"

Looking away from the Cullen's I walked to the car in a daze. This just couldn't he happening.

"What happened to you?" Lynn's soft brown eyes, partially covered by her curly brown hair, weren't filled with concern, but curiosity.

"I don't feel good." I stated, my voice rasp. Getting into the car I briefly noticed the twins were missing. Good.

As she exited the parking lot I pulled out the now crumpled artwork and let out a groan. The drawing was in its final stages. The girl with her pale olive skin was twisted around her own black hair. Lying on top of moss and covered with dying leaves, she was illuminated by the moon. Her blue eyes staring off into the distant, seeking something that had left her, abandon her.

Her mother, I thought, bitterly.

But there was no longer any doubt in my mind. He saw it. This girl on the paper resembled me. She was me. He had made the connection. I felt the world spin and I leaned my head against the window. Edward Cullen, the mysterious boy who was so alluring, had seen every part of me exposed. Parts only lovers were supposed to see.

I let out another moan, my face so hot it made me lightheaded.

"Are you going to throw up?" Lynn asked. "Please don't, I have a date tonight. "

Tears brimmed me lashes and I wiped them away.

Someone kill me now….
