She was sick and she knew that there was no running from it this time. So, she decided to stop running. She didn't want them finding out so instead she decided to go and have the perfect day with them. She wanted this before the sickness become obvious and she would have to stop seeing them, to hide it.
She sent them both notes with where and when to meet her and started planning her perfect day.
They both showed up, River fashionably late, to see her sitting on the ledge of a cliff, her feet hanging off of it looking up at the stars. A basket and picnic blanket spread out on the ground.
"Missed me that much?" (river)
"Course not, just need some help finishing the bottle."
Rivers laughed before coming to sit down with The Doctor and her. Taking the bottle from her and taking a sip.
"So, what are we celebrating?" (River)
Flopping back onto the blanket to stare at the stars.
"Do we have to be celebrating something?"
"Ahh, so you just missed us then?" (The Doctor)
Taking the bottle from Rivers he took a sip before turning and spitting it out.
"It's horrible, I hate wine, it's disgusting." (The Doctor)
Making both girls laugh.
While The Doctor finds and puts the cork back in she turned and curled up beside River, pulling herself in close, Rivers wraps an arm around her.
"Are you okay?" Rivers looked down in concern.
"Perfect, this moment is perfect."
The doctor looked over seeing both his girls curled up.
"So that's how it is, is it? (The Doctor) "Fine"
"He's such a child sometimes." (smiling)
