"They're going to come for me soon Kai," sighed the raven haired woman. "You must do try, it's the only way to keep her safe."
"But Jenna, it may not work. One small error and she could die." Replied the pokémon psychically.
"Kaiya, what do you think will happen to her if Giovanni finds me pregnant? At least this way my baby will have a mother."
"Jenna please don't talk like that." whispered the Gardevoir.
"I'm sorry Kai, but my fate is sealed. I've seen it in a vision," stated the woman as she rubs her growing belly. "But this little one has a long life ahead of her."
"I know Jenna; I have seen it as well. I just... don't want to lose you."
"Oh Kai!" cried the woman as she pulls the pokémon in a loving embrace. "We've been through so much together, there have been times that I don't know what I would have done without you, but know this I will always be in your heart." Tears began to well up in her eyes as Kaiya held her close crying softly. "I know you will miss me as will Anya, Vane and Fang. But you must do this and go back to the Johto region my mother left me a small cottage located just outside of Violet City noone will even notice you there. We need to hurry the rockets will come before night fall."
Kaiya sighed with tears in her lavender eyes, as she began to summon all her psychic energy. They were about to make pokémon history with the first human baby to be transferred to a female pokémon. Taking one last deep breath Kai released her psychic energy forming a small glowing ball of light that hits Jenna's abdomen. Suddenly Jenna's stomach begins to glow and pulse. As the light grew stronger it seemed to separate from Jenna's body, as the light began to leave Jenna's body it formed a golden bubble of energy. As the bubble finally left Jenna's body, both mother and pokémon gasped at the sight of the 3 month old embryo as the bubble made its way to its new home in Kaiya's womb. With a flash of golden light the embryo made her new home in Kaiya, and Kai's belly began to swell to make room for the baby.
"I don't believe it! It worked!" squeaked Jenna as she hugged Kaiya.
"Now you must hurry Anya, Vane and Fang are waiting out back with the wagon." said Jenna as she gently hurried the now pregnant Kaiya out the back door where her other pokémon were waiting.
"I guess this is good-bye then..." whispered Kai struggling to hold back the tears.
"Don't worry my love; I'll always be with you in spirit." Jenna replied as she lovingly caressed Kaiya's cheek before gently kissing her.
"You knew? You knew all along of my love for you?" gasped Kaiya.
"Of course I knew love, but I also knew it was impossible for us to be together." Jenna said sadly."Please tell our daughter about me, tell her of the good times before I fell victim to Giovanni and his retched Team Rocket." Jenna sighed before once more kissing Kaiya.
"Always remember I love you and I always have. Raise our daughter well my love, she is my final gift to you. Now you must go!" with that Kaiya floated to her seat next to Anya the Absol as the Mightyena brothers Fang and Vane began to run down the road.
"It'll be all right Kai" whispered Anya.
"She loved me..." Kaiya whispered before breaking down and crying in to Anya's silky fur.
