Chapter 1

Well, our midterms are finally over. No more studying Spanish, learning Latin and cramming chemistry for us. We can afford to ditch school for smoking, put off homework for parties. And let's face it, you'd much rather be dancing with me than stuck at home writing essays. Actually, I was dancing with a very cute blond boy at S's party last night. I was so sad when he left! Though I'm sure there will be plenty more chances for us to dance as the social season has only just begun. So ditch those books, grab your MAC gloss, your silk Versace wrap dress, your Schuh stilettos and come out to party!

Sightings

S and A getting sweet under the fireworks at her party. Aahh, young love. B wearing dark glasses and buying aspirin. Maybe she drank a little too much Ketel One. J buying a new bra at Macy's. Hmm, I hope she finds one in her size. V filming a homeless man eating ice cream on the steps of the Met. Does she never get bored? Everyone's favourite rock star looking lost and lonely in the bar at the Tribeca Star. If he ever needs anyone, I'm always here…
