A Family Member Returns
The toys quietly waited lying so still, for Bonnie to head down stairs so they could get up and read that letter from Ken.
"Bonnie come down stairs and greet our guests." Yelled the mother
Buzz watched from one eye as his new owner raced out the door and down stairs. Getting up he rolled his neck
"It's all clear!" He yelled
"Oh, boy, oh boy, oh boy… Let's read this letter now." Rex said excitedly
Jessie jumped on her boyfriends back. It had only been a couple of days since her space buddy finally asked her out. If only Bo-Peep were here to help her. Dolly was nice but she wasn't Bo. Woody had stated that to Dolly herself which ended in tears.
"Well come on Space Boy. Yah gonna open the letter." Jessie asked
"Yeah, yeah, yeah… Hold your horse's cowgirl." Chuckled Buzz
Buzz looked up at Woody and sighed. This would be the fifth day he just sat staring at the window. Andy wasn't going to come back and neither was Bo.
"Hey, buddy you gonna come down from there and look at the letter." He asked knowing his answer was going to be no again.
Buzz opened the letter carefully and started to pull it out when Rex started to talk.
"Ahh, guys…" Rex stuttered
"What? What is it Rex?" Asked Mr Potato Head
"Ah… There coming back… Hurry…" Rex said running to his old spot
Everyone clambered into there old places. Buzz hid the letter under Bonnie's bed and then helped his struggling girlfriend up on the bed he then clambered up himself, lying so still again next to Jessie he noticed Bonnie coming in with an older girl.
"Now Bonnie… If I give you this toy you have to promise me you'll take care of it. She's a special toy. Andy gave me her for my birthday… So I want you to take real care of her." Said the older woman
Buzz watched as Bonnie was handed a present.
"Okay." Said a smiling Bonnie whilst un-wrapping the gift
"Wow! A Bo-Peep… Thanks so much Anne." Bonnie said hugging the older girl.
Buzz was shocked. Bo was finally home and now Woody would have his girl back after all these years...
