Deep in the mountains of northern Regna Ferox a large dragon flew above the mountain heights casting a shadow across the range. The dragon's body was red and its scales sparkled with an emerald color. It flew circles around the peaks of the mountains with a great swiftness gazing down into the blizzard below and noticed a small glimmer. The dragon circled the peak one last time and let out a mighty roar that would shake the heavens, and then dived into the blizzard. With great haste the dragon plunged into the storm following the glimmer, until it reached a ridge on the mountain side. As the dragon rapidly approached the ridge it realized it could not control its speed. The dragon flapped its wings trying to slow down, but it was a wasted effort. It slammed into a large pile of snow causing an explosion of snow and ice chunks. From the impact crater a blinding light erupted out for only a short moment and then disappeared. A small girl crawled out of the crater and stood up. The girl brushed off the snow off her purplecloak. The cloak nearly covered her whole body and concealed her head with the hood; the back had lines of gold down the back and in the center was a pattern of a dragon wrapped around a crescent moon. Her outfit underneath was a pair of black pants and a black shirt with a skirt that was a dark crimsons shade and a belt holding many small pouches to her waist along with a sword and sheath. She also had an armored vest that looked like red dragon scales. Her face was covered by a mask and goggles and a steel armored headband.

She quickly checked her surroundings trying to reorient herself. She let out a groan, "ah that really hurts!" She cried out in pain with her whole body is still shaking. She took a deep breath then spoke again "I guess mother was right my body is still not completely used to my powers yet, then again I was in that form for almost a full week now." She sighed then felt her pocket and felt a sinking feeling in her gut. To her shock the pocket was empty. She panicked and jumped back into the crater and searched it on her hands and knees. The storm was picking up and was nearly impossible to see but she managed to find a stone. "Ah there you are" she said picking it up and putting it in her pocket. Fighting the wind and snow she crawled out of the hole and walked to a wall of rocks she than held up her arm that was equipped with a gantlet that had a strange symbol on it. The storm wind was getting worse and she was nearly blown off her feet. In the distance she heard howls of beasts. "I better get inside soon before it gets any worse out here." she said. She raised her arm and covered the gantlet with her other hand and a beam of light shot out into the rock wall.

The wall began to shake and move revealing an entrance to a cave. She quickly entered and the wall sealed closed behind her. The cave was dark but there was a small light in the back of the cave she walks towards it. A bear hide was on a rope that connects to each wall like a door to a tent. She passed it and enter a large clearing in the cave it was set up much like a small room to the left a table and chair was there with many books stacked on top of it and a small candle lit sitting on it. "The dragon has returned to her den I guess." She sighed pessimistically and with a tiered and weary walk she approached the table. On the table she noticed a note. The sight of the note made her curiosity peak right away. She quickly opens the note almost ripping it in two. Holding it up to the light of the candle she begun to read.

"Dear red, I left this note in case you got back before me I'm not using are names just in case someone else was to find this note. I had found a lead that might help us in our mission so I set out to a small village about 7 miles north east from here. I found out this about this place while talking to a merchant lady who was traveling through. Funny she looked a lot like Anna and sold me some useful equipment. I should be back before sundown. There is some left over bear meat hanging on our food line also were out of fire wood and I lost the flint too, but don't worry on the table there should be a low level fire tome go ahead and use it to make the fire. You just need to find something to burn. Love Green. Ps don't knock over my stack of tomes i reached a new record at 47."

She looked at the table and saw a red book and picked it up and moves to the middle of the room passing a fallen pile of tomes on the ground. "Red and green, is that what we are calling our self's now." she sighed. In the middle of the room theirs was a small hole surrounded by rocks she placed the note inside then tore out a few pages of the red book place a few in here pocket and set a few next to the note. She turned held the book open in one arm then held out the other pointing an open palm at the hole with the note. She focuses at the hole and a glowing ring surrounded her open palm like she was holding a shield. "Fire" she cried out and small ball of fire shot out of the ring into the pit starting a small fire. Once the fire started to grow she tossed the rest of the book in and watches it brushed into to flames lighting up the whole room. "Red "she repeated to herself "I'd rather have that be my real name" she then sat down warming her hands near the fire. The light of the fire filled the room revealing everything in the cave.

The cave was filled with weapons near the entrance, and towards the back a line that had meat hanging from. Next to the table there were many small book shelf filled with books and tomes a chest with two make shift beds with a big map of the land above them. The fire quickly settled on a controlled flame burning bright in the pit. She took off her cloak off placed it on the ground next to the fire. She then ran a hand through her brown hair untucking the long braids on each side of her head, the braids fell like a small rope just past her shoulders. She sat alone just listening to the fire crackle "all alone" she mumbled to herself. The thoughts brought dread and an unpleasant feeling in her mind, but her thoughts were quickly disrupted by a growling. She reaches for her gut feeling a slight aching. She turned to a set of metal sticks near the fire and with some difficulty managed to set up a small spit roast. Taking the long metal rod and using it to spear a chuck of meat and set it over the fire. She started spinning the roast the glow of the flame reflecting off here goggles. She listening at the juices of the meat drip off and swallowed thoughts of destruction from her time filled her mind. Her heart started to race as scream of agony filled her mind. Her chest fleet like it was getting tighter and tighter making it hard to breathe, she started faster and faster staring at the meat as it burned turning black as she watched. She then jumped and let out a shriek. Starting to slow her breathing calming down she quickly removed the meat that had been burned on the one side. "The war is over and we stop the great evil from destroying the world," she softly cried she lifted off her goggles and whipped her tears from her eyes. Setting the goggles up on her forehead head band she looked at her hand and saw the ring her mother gave her as a child. She smiled "that's right this time I have my family … mother, father, and my sister." She smiled softly her purple eyes glimmering. She lowered the mask so she could eat. The meat outside was chard but inside it was quite tasty. The emblem on the cloak caught her eye. "The dragon on the crescent moon," she side then took another bite of the meat. "Father feared that even with the fell dragon gone that great evil will remain, as long as I live I will never let this world's future end up like mine." She proclaimed. After finishing her meal she unbuckled her belt and set it off to the side and places the sword under her blanket. She removed the googles and armored head band and her ear spun out and wiggled, they were long and pointed and tended to wiggle and move depending on her mood. She rub them softly the tips were red from the cold. She yawned and tucked herself into the bed roll covering up with the hide blanket clinging on to the sword still in its sheath she closed her eyes and thought of her family "we'll be home soon, just please wait for us." she spoke softly before dozing off to sleep.
