"Say it again, yah damn rat!" Kyo shouted as he gripped Yuuki's collar and pulled him closer.

"You're just angry I'm right." Yuuki said plainly.

Kyo gritted his teeth harder. "Y-You are not!"

"Then why are you blushing?" Yuuki asked, a smirk tugging at his lips.

Kyo hesitated before letting go. "I-I don't like her... l-like that..."

"Of course you do." Yuuki said and nodded.

Kyo narrowed his eyes. "You're really pissing me off!"

Tohru stepped into the room and her smile fell. As always the boys were fighting over who knows what. "A-Are either of you hungry?" She asked nervously.

Both boys turned and shook their heads.

"No, but thank you for the offer, Miss Honda." Yuuki said and smiled gently.

Kyo glanced at Yuuki before growling and leaving the room angerily.

"I-I didn't make him upset, did I?" Tohru asked with a frown.

Yuuki shook his head. "His anger is my doing. Don't worry, I'm sure he'll be back down here asking for a fight later."

"What... are you fighting over this time?" Tohru asked.

Yuuki's eyes widened briefly. "Nothing you need to worry yourself with, Miss. Honda, honest."

Tohru sighed and nodded. "A-Alright... if you say so." She said and smiled before heading to her room.

Kyo sighed as he laid on the roof, staring at the sun. So what if Yuuki was right? He wasn't about to do anything about it.

"Kyo?"

Kyo's head snapped in the direction of the familiar voice. "T-Tohru..."

"Are you alright? Yuuki didn't tell me what you're fighting over..." She said as she moved to sit beside him.

Kyo diverted his eyes away. "Don't worry about it." He murmured.

Tohru sighed as she looked up at the setting sun. "Alright, but you know you can always talk to me, right?"

Kyo nodded. "Yes, I do." He murmured. His eyes drifted over to her. Her hair was up in a pony tail and she wore a long blue dress.

"Why are you staring at me, Kyo?" She asked and smiled gently.

Kyo blushed faintly and turned away. "N-Nothing..." He mumbled.

Tohru frowned slightly; she didn't like when Kyo was upset, and usually she could get him to open up, but this time it seemed pointless. She gently touched his shoulder and sighed.

"A-Are you really sure you're alright?" She asked and searched his eyes.

Kyo stared at her with wonder and nervousness. She was so close to him, he could almost feel the heat radiating from her body. His hand lifted and rested against her cheek. Tohru's eyes widened slightly as a faint blush fell over her cheeks.

"Wh-What are you doing?" She squeaked.

Kyo continued to stare at her. His hand slowly moved to the back of her neck and as he took in a deep breath, he pulled her in to connect their lips in a gentle kiss. Tohru gasped in shock as she stared at Kyo's deep red face. He finally let out a long breath as he pulled back.

Tohru bit her lip as she looked down at her lap. Her face was deep red as she tried to process what had just occured.

"I-I... s-sorry." Kyo stuttered and looked away.

"I-I..I've always loved the cat... I-I... just had no idea that... he'd love me." Tohru whispered.

Kyo's eyes widened as he turned to look at Tohru. "I-I..."

"Wh-What about... K-Kagura?" Tohru asked.

Kyo's blush fell as did his expression. "I could care less about her. I don't like her. I never have."

"I-I..." Tohru hesitated before throwing her arms around Kyo's torso and burrying her face in his chest. "Thank you."

Kyo was taken off guard. He gasped as he nearly fell back to a laying position, but caught himself by wrapping his arm around Tohru.

"Thank you... for being my year of the cat fanclub." Kyo whispered.

Tohru giggled and smiled.

AN: This kinda sucks ... I know that they do actually end up together and blah blah, but I only watched the anime, so it doesn't matter to me. Anyway... this fanfic really sucks... bleh...
