He was the one that made Sasuke miserable, and in turn, had made her miserable.
Her anger rose and he didn't even bat her an eyelash. When she vainly charged at him, he stopped her and looked at her, really looked at her. And though no emotion crossed his face, she was immersed in his ruby red eyes that shone in the moons pale glow.
For a moment she saw the one she loved, she saw Sasuke, and she almost dared to smile at him. Happy that he had noticed her, had looked at her.
He caught her brief expression and understood her thoughts. But she came back to reality and aimed a punch at his face. He was quicker though, and with a blink of the eye, he stood behind her.
His breath tickled the back of her neck, sending chills down her spine.
'This is the end.' she thought.
How could it be anything else? This man killed a powerful clan, his own clan, and he was only a young man. He wouldn't spare a thought on killing a kunoichi such as herself, especially a kunoichi that is in love with his brother.
But he didn't end her life like she had assumed. Instead he put his hands on her arms, gently but firmly, and offered her everything that Sasuke had never given her.
And for a moment she considered his offer, this proposal from a man that looked so much like her beloved Sasuke-kun, and he was offering her more than she thought a killer could offer.
'But we're all killers aren't we?' she asked herself. 'He's really no different than me.'
So she had decided. She nodded her head and he took her hand in his and they left.
'What have I gotten myself into?' she thought briefly.
But even if it was for only a moment, she would go with him.
Because he was giving her everything that she had always wanted from the younger Uchiha.
And at that moment, that's all that really mattered.
Okay, so this is a product of boredom and it's not that great. But I love Itachi and Sakura, so here you go.
Since it's almost obvious they will never be together it was kind of hard to write this one, but I could see Sakura getting fed up with Sasuke being to stubborn and Itachi using it to his advantage.
Anyways, love it, hate it, it doesn't matter. This isn't serious writing, but I still hope you enjoy.
Thanks! And it's always lovely if you review.
