Note from the Writer:
This poem was inspired by the Daughter of the Moon series.
It's a poem about the goddess of the dark moon, Hekate. Her
reputation has been twisted over the years because she guides
Persephone to the Underworld every year. She shows us that
darkness leads us to light.

Silver moon kisses are blown across the sky,
As Hekate says her last good bye.

She travels to the underworld,
Forever being feared.

Hidden within the shadows,
Never to be neared.

For she is the witch goddess

That stalks the night,
But in reality guides the Daughters

To the luminescent light.
