Tendo Training Hall:
"Ranma you pervert!" Shouted Akane Tendo, chasing after a red-haired girl.
"You're the one who pushed me into the pool, you idiot!" Ranma shouted at his follower.
In the family room Akane's and Ranma's fathers were having a heated argument.
"My son will not be marring a two-timing whore!" Shouted Genma Saotome, Ranma's dad.
"How dare you call my daughter that when your own son is both genders!!" Akane's dad shouted back.
Genma stood up angrily.
"The wedding is off, I won't be related to a liar!"
Genma looked over his shoulder. "Ranma, pack our thing we're leaving!"
Ranma, back in his male body, bounded into the room carrying two large packs. "Already done."
Donning the packs father and son left in a huff.
"Hey, old man," Said Ranma as they walked down the road. "Where are we gonna stay?"
Genma re-adjusted his pack as he answered. "I foresaw this and rented a duplex on the other side of town, so we'll head there."

"It is a good thing you got here first Mr. Saotome, sir." Said Mr. Izuma, the owner of the duplex. "After you signed the papers, I received a letter from a brother and a sister were interested in renting the other side. I meet with them tonight for dinner and paper signing."
"Well isn't that swell." Said Ranma sarcastically.
Mr. Izuma gave them a tourof their side of the duplex. They saw the family room, the bedroom, and the huge backyard with the pool and bath house that both families would share.
Back in the famly room Ranma and Genma said goodbye to Mr. Izuma as he left to meet the other family. Mr. Izuma turned back to Ranma standind in the front door.
"By the way, young man, according to the elder brother his sister has had some tramatic things happen to her so please take it easy with her, won't you?"
