"Johnny?"

The leader of the Cenation looked up to find his sister standing in the doorway of the empty locker room, he shook his head and ran a hand through his buzzed hair before putting his hat back on his head. Tonight had been TLC and he had his match in the bag until the unbalanced AJ inserted herself and pushed over the ladder he had been climbing to retrieve the Money in the Bank briefcase costing him the match.

"Not right now okay Hales…I just really want to be alone with my thoughts" he told the petite brunette.

Normally she would have listened to him but she knew him all too well, that's what happens when you travel with your brother on the road in WWE. Sure they had always been close but since she became a WWE diva and began traveling with John she found herself seeing a different side to him, a side she rarely ever saw. Haley entered the locker room and sat beside him on the bench and wrapped her arms around his much bigger frame.

"Have you talked to her?" Haley asked gently.

John again shook his head. "I don't think she came to the show tonight. I screwed it up big time with her Hales, all because of this stupid AJ scandal."

"Go to her then…lay it out there. I know Taylor just as well as you do Johnny and I know she still loves you" Haley encouraged. "I know she's back at the hotel, and she saw your match. You could tell in her voice she was concerned. Go get the love of your life back Johnny."

The ten time WWE champion stood in the hallway in front of Taylor's door, his heart was beating about a million beats a second as he knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. A few seconds passed but finally the door opened and Taylor stood there in her favorite sweats and his Rise Above Hate t-shirt.

"Johnny?" she asked, a little surprised he was at her door after the hellacious match he had just gone through.

He said nothing, just took a step toward her and pulled her into his arms holding her tightly against him, oh how he had missed her these past few weeks. She hugged him back after a few seconds pressing her face into the crook of his neck.

"I'm sorry" she whispered softly.

He pulled back just enough so they could look in each other's eyes "This isn't your fault T, this was all me…I'm the one whose sorry. I'll do anything Taylor, just tell me what you need me to do. These past few weeks have been the worst, not just because of the stupid AJ scandal but because I actually believed that you had fallen out of love with me. You're my everything pretty girl and I wasn't going to come here tonight but Haley convinced me that you still loved me so here I am…" he said, tears pooling in his eyes as he looked into her eyes praying that she still felt the same way about him.

"Haley has always tried to push us together…whether we wanted to go along with it or not." Taylor remembered with a smile. "I love you Johnny, I always have and always will."

For the first time that night a genuine smile lit up the Cenation's face and he leaned down a pressed his lips to Taylor's, from this day on he would not let anything get in between them again.
